The National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA) is a federation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Asian American, South Asian, Southeast Asian, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations. SprOUT was proud to be a part of the conversation with many other organizations and build capacity for future work.
Family Equality Council hosted an evening dedicated to trans fertility preservation and reproductive support and guided us through the in's and out's of every aspect of building family biologically. This panel included transmasculine and transfeminine perspectives and was inclusive of genderqueer and gender non-conforming communities.
Providers, educators, activists, parents, and those in the family planning process participated in a community conversation about fertility support and family building options for LGBTQ people living with HIV.
The LGBTQ Perinatal Wellness Center and SprOUT Family co-hosted an afternoon Meet & Greet for all Bay Area queer perinatal wellness providers, folx in the planning-for-baby stage, expectant, and new parents.
We offered an informative Q&A session and private consultations at our first open clinic event in San Francisco, CA.

Our Medical Director, Kathy Hsiao, presented on gynecologic care for transgender men and fertility issues for youth blockers, hormones, and decision-making through the lens of family building options.
